What Is Raw Honey?

Raw honey is a pure and unprocessed form of honey that is harvested directly from the beehive.

It is made by extracting honey from the honeycombs of the hive and pouring it over a strainer or mesh to separate the honey from impurities like beeswax.

Once strained, raw honey is bottled and ready to be enjoyed.

Herb-Infused Honey

Herb-infused honey is honey that has been infused or steeped with herbs, allowing the flavors and aromas of the herbs to blend with the natural sweetness of the honey.

Depending on the herbs used, herb-infused honey can provide various medicinal benefits. Certain herbs have traditionally been used for their therapeutic properties, such as soothing digestion, supporting the immune system, or promoting relaxation.

Raw honey is renowned for its numerous health benefits, but when infused with herbs, its therapeutic properties are greatly enhanced. Herb-infused honey provides a brilliant method to extract and harness the specific medicinal qualities of the infused herb, resulting in a potent and convenient form of natural remedy. Not to mention, they are delicious too!

At Herb Garden Honey, all of our herb-infused honey is made with raw honey from our beehives and pesticides-free herbs from our garden. Each jar is carefully handcrafted to provide you with their full medicinal potential. For better preservation of the herbal and honey properties, some of our herb-infused honey is creamed, ensuring their effectiveness over an extended period.

Creamed Honey

Creamed honey is a type of honey that has undergone a controlled crystallization process. Raw honey naturally crystallize over time, forming solid sugar crystals. But the crystals are large and uneven in sizes, resulting in coarse and grainy texture. The creaming process involves gently stirring or whipping liquid honey and adding a small amount of already crystallized honey as a "seed" to initiate controlled crystallization.

The purpose of creaming honey is to create a smooth and creamy texture. By encouraging the formation of small, fine crystals, creamed honey maintains a spreadable consistency that is easy to use. It retains its soft texture even after prolonged storage.

It's important to note that creaming honey does not alter its quality or nutritional benefits. Our creamed honey is still considered raw honey, meaning it retains the natural enzymes, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals found in raw honey. The creaming process does not involve any heat or filtration that would compromise the honey's natural properties.

Thanks to its controlled crystallization process, creamed honey guarantees a consistently smooth and creamy texture every time you open the jar. No more surprises, just pure velvety goodness that spreads effortlessly and tantalizes your taste buds
